karl marx and the industrial revolution

Karl Marx felt that the Industrial Revolution wasn't a great idea. He did not like the way the workers were being treated and how the factories were unsafe. Karl Marx did not support the Industrial Revolution at all. Since the factories were all unsafe and harsh, Marx fought to get the right for workers to be the ones to control the factories not the landlords. Karl Marx wanted the Industrial Revolution to work in a whole different way but what he wanted more was for it to be safe at least. Karl Marx also didn't like the idea of children working in the factories with them getting no breaks. While the children should be getting an education they are at factories that weren't safe and working. Also while working so many hours they didn't get payed much. The landlords got all the luxury while the people who worked hard and many hours didn't, which wasn't fair. Karl Marx didn't like this anymore and invented Communism. Where everyone would share the money that was being earned. They would all earn the same no matter what their job was and Karl Marx thought that was a better way to have the society going. Karl Marx had his own idea and opinion like everyone else. There were some that agreed and some that didn't, Karl Marx was one that did not agree and made Communism.

Nationalism and the creation of Italy

Nationalism is hard to define. It is something that we contribute everyday for. It is when the people of one country appraise that that is their country. It is that link that binds every citizen of that one country. Our country is also a prime example of nationalism. We can at on our nationalism in our borders of the United States, but when we cross the borders we enter their nationalism. One nation can act different than another.
To this nationalsm there also plays what we all have in common. In Ameruica we all have a common language. We also have symbols to represent our country. We also pay taxes to fund our goverment and to support our nation. one other thing that we have in common is that we use the same currency. Like staed before each country might have a different way of showing their nationalism.
A story of nationalsim was when Italy became a nation. Back Then Austria took over was then the tower of two sicilies. As time Went on they wanted to claim their independence. They Took their everybody in the country and they took over the country and claimed their nation.

copernicus and the trial of galileo

When you think of the solar system, there are two important theories you should know about, heliocentric and geocentric. When you break the words down they go to their Greek meanings. In Heliocentric: Helios is the Greek word for sun. While in Geocentric; Geo is Greek for earth. In both words: Centric comes from Kentron which is the Greek word for center. Geocentric means that the earth is the center of the universe and everything revolves around it. Heliocentric is a little different than that. It states that the sun is the center of the universe and everything revolves around it instead of the earth. Obviously both of these theories are not true. The Geocentric theory may have come first but it is not the correct one.
During the 16th century a scientist created a model of this years later. this was not taken for consideration until years later. Galileo Galilei was a famous astronomer, philosopher, and a physicist. He played a very important role in the scientific revolution. In 1630 Galileo published the "Dialogue on the Two Chief Systems of the World." He took up the theories of copernicus and converted an experiment. Unlike the geocentric theory Galileo was able to support heliocentrism with knoowing facts and evidence from his studies of physics and his findings through his telescope that was placed in his garden. After he had tried to make this theory to affect he was placed under arrest by the catholic church. They did not believed that his theory was correct and teach another was not legal. They believed the theory Aristole. He had to renounce his theory and his book was banned by the catholic church. He was first first life in prison but was later altered to life house arrest.

scientific revolution: the scientific method

the scientific method is the process of how a theory is created. This
is the most common step scientist take in order to put there theory or
hypothesis to the test. This way makes old outdated ideas to shame.
Before
people sought there science from the bible and the from the old Greeks
and Romans. For example Aristotle had a theory that heavier objects
will in factfall faster than lighter object, but years later Galileo had proved it to be false by testing
this theory by the scientific method he went to the tower of pisa and throw to objects different mass and it was proven wrong

The process of this scientific method is simple. First take a theory
that someone had stated observe it and study it. Aftercreate a educated
guess (hypothesis) and make some predictions. Then set up your test and
do it. observe again and compare your results. After all of this you
can make your conclusion from what you saw and what you did. This is
the scientific theory.

evolution vs creation

evolution is the theory of how we came to by adapting and change through the environment. This thoery was discovered by Charles Darwin. One of the processes of evolution was natural selection. On the other hand creationism is the thoery of how god created the world. This can be found in bibles. Both contradict each other, one is saying there is no god and we just adapted but the other is saying that a god did the job of making us and the world.
